Hey all, since our guestbook has been getting spammed on a daily basis, (we don't love Party Poker and Viagra that much!) and since we'll be launching our new website soon, we've decided to disable the guestbook until the new one goes up. In the meantime please feel free to e-mail us with your comments at us@theragbirds.com or leave a comment on our MySpace at www.myspace.com/theragbirds. Thanks!

"Degraded bird, I give you back your eyes forever, ascend now whither you are tossed; Forsake this wrist, forsake this rhyme; Soar, eat ether, see what has never been seen; depart, be lost, But climb." -Edna St. Vincent Millay, "On Thought in Harness", lines 11-14

Hey Ragbirds, thanks for playing at Churchills. It was fun seeing you in Flint. What a musical treat it was! Hope to see you again soon.
Hey Erin--it's been a while since we were in touch. (you were still with Madison Greene at the time) I am now in Broadway, VA, and my husband is teaching at Eastern Mennonite University. Come play near me! Gorgeous website!!!
Heard you on Mitch thurs. I liked what I heard. Gotta get me somma dat.
Hello Ragbirds! Just checking out your site. See you all real soon!
I was in Maumee Ohio last night at the Village Idiot( I'm from Brighton MI,)Very impressive! What impressed me the most was the variety of instruments that the singer was obviously well trained on! Will keep checking for any shows coming to the Ann Arbor and surrounding areas and will definately pass the word along to many friends!
Great stuff. I cannot wait to see you live. Of course any band with Adam in it is sure to be good. Love how The Ragbirds simnply cannot be described as, "They sound like X."
I received your CD as a B-Day gift from my sister Jamie who works at T.C.'s along with one from City Goat and some demo's from Rootstand. Yes Nearby is in heavy rotation on every playback device I own, I can't get enough! It's great to see the Ypsi music scene doing so well and The Ragbirds are definitely leading the pack. Your music would play very well here in Charlotte, NC, any plans to come this way? There are several venues that are perfect for your sound. If you decide to venture this far let me know and I will do what I can to hook you up.
Hey Erin I read about you in artvoice. So I checked it out. It sounds great I really like it. All of you Zindels are incredible talented. It's nice to see you guys going places and making a difference. I hope the family is well. Take care, congradulations and good luck.
Adam, Brian and Melissa Moore (I'm her Dad) turned me on to the new group your in. The cd is outstanding and I will be giving out your web address to all of my musical friends. Hope you get a few sales from it. I caught your solo show last year and I hope I can get out to Mich to see the Ragbirds. As of today your sounds will now be played in northern NY. ps Keep On Making Music. It's what your all here for Foster T Shampine
Caught your show at the Temple Club a while back, and really dug it! You guys have a great sound, and are definitely going places. If you're ever rolling through the lansing area again, and need an acoustic openner, le tme know. www.myspace.com/mattburkemusic
Caught your show about half way through my lunch hour during Art Fair. I KNEW after about 2 songs I'd be buying the CD. My lunch lasted 1 1/2 hours before I finally left to go back to work. I'm hooked! What a wonderful CD...great, great stuff! I can't wait to see you at another show. Best wishes.
The Pig was way too much fun on 7/7. See you in Mt. P! ONE MORE...THREE MORE!!!
Yay~you kids rock!! My friends loved it, I loved it-we will see you again soon I'm sure. I'm going to try to bring Maddy(my little one)to one of the art fair shows so she can dance around and sing Tipi Baya or as she would say Ducka Goya...thanks for a great show!!
Another great show 7/7. I pulled two new fans to the show at the Pig and they loved it! Can't wait till the next one. My voice should be fine by then (lots of cheering during the show!)
Tawas loved you guys! They were calling from across the lake to find out how to hear more of the awesome band that grooved til midnight. You could have played til the sun came up and they would have been asking for more! Hope to catch you at a local gig soon. Infectious global groove.....YES!
Hope you enjoyed your time up in paradise (Oscoda). It was good to see ya Randy, only been a year or so. Thanks for the CD, very impresive. Cheers, Reed

Hi Guys! I just listened to some samples from the album..loved it! When are you coming down south? (Charleston, SC)
Hi guys ~ Just wanted to thank you for performing the benefit concert Saturday night. You guys were and are awesome!!! Your concert was the best one I have been to in many years and you now outrank Fleetwood Mac as my favorite band! Everyone loved and enjoyed your music and performance. Again, heartfelt thanks and hope to see you soon ~ Deb Norton, Co-Founder, Chain of Hearts.
Randall: Dropped by the site here and everything looks awesome man! I wish you guys the best with everything! Charlie
You can really sing and play music keep up good work.
Saw you at the Foggy Bottom on 6/10 ... SUPER job! Hope to hear you again soon.
Just letting you know that I am still listening to the CD, telling others about The Ragbirds, and counting the days to the show this Friday at TC's with Glowb! Ahhhhh the Ypsi-Flint family reunion is gonna be a crazy, foot-stomping, hand clapping, supah spinning good time! I miss you guys!
hola! i'm so excited for all of you-- the music you create together is so powerful i can't stop myself from dancing when i hear it-- even when its just coming out of my cd plyer:) you have such a beautiful voice, erin!!! see you all soon! peace&love
Congrats on the success and great reviews so far. I'm sure there will be many more on the way! I'm gonna miss being able to hear you in concert once I go to Tennessee, but thank God I bought a CD, so I can take your music anywhere I go. Keep up the great work, and God bless.
C'mon now,,, in looking at your tour page, there ARE places outside of MI that would love to hear your music live. When you coming to AZ or somewhere out West? Was referred to your music by Miranda Stone and love it!
Thank You for your music. The CD helps me remember the thoughts and feelings that wove through me last Saturday evening at TCs. Filled my heart with love and helped me. Thank You.
I happened to be at the Village Idiot when you played, and I was intrigued enough to buy the CD. Originally, I described your music as Irish-Reggae. After listening to "Yes, Nearby",it is so much more. I played "Adoration" for my 7-year old so she could hear your guest singer. She described it as Egyptian. Dissappointed there are no Memorial Weekend shows -- I was hoping to see you. Guess I'll have to wait for August at the Idiot.
Congratulations to all of you on your 4 star review. Matt and I enjoy listening to your CD, and it's nice to see you acknowledged for your hard work and incredible talent. Randy, I don't think I've ever seen your parents (especially your Dad) so proud of you. Erin, I'm glad that you are finally sharing your beautiful voice with the world, and I am so very honored for you to perform at my wedding!!!! Love, Jen
Joe, it was a great time , plenty of people, plenty of good music. We had a great time and hope to do it again!
yo... how'd it go?... i'm dying to hear about the blind swine show... did the crowd stack? did y'all attack? are they having you back?
Hey guys, just checking out the site some more, I had a great time last night, everyone did that came in our group - fantastic job! Hey I laughed out loud when I saw the post from Chris on 4-20 that says: "I am a Monkey and this music is Bananas" - that is frickin' hilarious! We'll see you soon, get me some photos from our last show or put some up on the site! Peace.
Tight show in Flint-town the other night, been thinkin' about you guys. Expect a call from me extremely soon. Let's talk, k?
Yay stinsonian way to live out your dreams. Isn't this ironic??? You're doing your music and I'm doing my screenwriting!!!!!!!! This is amazing.
OF course I'm your biggest fan. I need another CD. That makes 5 now. I should get a prize or something. How long does it take to ship it somewhere? The friend I am sending it to is moving. Thanks!
Well, I think Believe It would make a great radio track, I think it's a standout track on the album. BTW, I'm looking forward to the Blind Pig show--should be a great time.
Wes, so far we've heard love's great joke and Tipi Baya. There are others that we think would make great radio tunes, and we suggest them as well but it isn't up to us. I'd like to hear Believe it..... what do you think?
Just curious, what song is getting radio-play?
No-no-no guys, this is well out of order; I had a to-do list about three miles long that needed to be started on today (my only day off 'till next Wed,), and here I've been compulsively replaying the three tunes on the website for hours! Now really, how is it that I'm to find time to solve the problems of the world when you're making music so good I can't possibly tear myself away, eh?! I 'spose the world is just gonna have to wait; Erin or Randy, if you pop into TC's soon couldjya bring two cds for me to buy? :~p
the show lasnight was amazing... Erin you are a very beautiful and talented musician... thanks for the jam!
You created an instant fan, 4/30/05. The show was cool and I listened to the CD all the way home.
Hi Erin again! ^^ I've already told you this a million times, but your music is muchly good! :D Now if I only knew where I put the CD....

Hi Erin. Just a quick hello from one of your new students. I love the CD. We'll have to talk.
Erin, Wow, I just listened to your demos - I didn't expect such a rich full sound from you and your band - it's great!! You told me that the Foggybottom was for you to learn to play together, but it is clear that you're well past that point. I'm really looking forward to hearing you live and hearing the rest of the music on your CD.
Congrats to Greg on his new marriage!!!!!!!
Hi Erin. Thank you and the band for supporting our children by performing the upcoming concert on June 18th. We really appreciate your support and contribution! I have heard a few of your tracks and cannot wait for the concert!

Hey Erin, I got your message about the upcoming show when I was out of town, now I am extremely bummed that I've missed your shows. I have this little three track demo of yours that a friend passed along to me and I adore it. I'm not sure I can wait until next month to hear the band live. I am such a boofa and haven't gotten in touch with you, please call again and keep in touch and keep me updated about the band, can't wait for the CD release.

I love the website guys! I put a link on glowb.org now, thank you for linking us, we got a few hits from your site! Can't wait to get Glowb and the Birds playing a show together!
I went to the show last night (3/5) and the Ragbirds were fantastic. The set was tight, professionsal, fun, entertaining, and was by far, the best band of the three that played. The impeding great success is palpable as Erin draws the listener in with her beautiful voice and stage presence. I was honored to watch such a performance. Fantastic.
Makes me wonder why I moved to Florida last year, hearing the great sound being developed in good old Michigan. Well, I've got a couple of great locations for you to play in the Tampa/ St. Pete area. Let me know when you are comin' my way. Wonderful website as well. Carry on.
So I love it all Erin:) Good work!
The website looks great. Looking forward to your CD release here in Buffalo. Love, Dad
